In my upbringing, innumerable people and factors have shaped my personality and perceptions of the world. My parents offered me education, security, confidence and the love to study and explore. My physical education instructor infused in me sportsmanship and perseverance. My music tutor taught me the congruity between mind and soul. All of these people taught me that hard work and determination leads to success. However, it was my friends and teachers who most shaped my dreams and aspirations while pursuing something I enjoy doing.
With a burning desire to develop new technology, my friends and I got involved in writing a computer program for the school, which would help keep track of student information. The project was extremely challenging and required weeks of planning and programming. With the useful insights offered by my computer teacher and her patience and understanding, my friends and I were able to navigate through difficult code until we produced the final result. Through our project, the school was able to access the student information in a simple and organized manner.
Seeing my father’s iOS applications on the App Store inspired me to help my father’s team to design and create an application for iOS devices, namely ‘I love Rhymes’, which is currently available on the App Store.
My parents, friends and teachers have not only influenced me in the way I live my life but also influenced my passions and everyday actions.
